Foreside Inn is located just minutes from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, making it a convenient stay for shipyard employees, contractors, and visitors. The property is approximately a 5-minute drive from the shipyard entrance and within easy access to downtown Portsmouth as well.

After booking your reservation, you will receive a series of messages via email and text with additional information and instructions for your arrival and stay. The first message will be sent immediately after booking and includes a link to a Guest Registration form that must be completed prior to arrival. A second message will be sent a few days prior to check-in that includes a link to our Guidebook and arrival instructions. The third message, which will be sent via email on the day of your check-in, includes your personal access pin, which you will need to enter the building and your room. The fourth and fifth messages will be sent via text during your stay and will include check-out instructions.

The fastest and easiest way to book is directly through our website, theforsideinn.com. The system will show you availability, room options, and current rates. You may also book through Expedia or Booking.com, but our website offers the best rates.

We have a parking lot with limited spaces, but typically, guests are able to find a spot. However, if our lot is full, there is street parking directly in front of the hotel.

Our standard check-in time is 4:00 PM, and check-out is 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be accommodated based on availability. Please contact our guest services team to inquire.

You will be emailed a personalized PIN code for the duration of your stay. This code will give you access to the building entryway doors as well as your room.

Our property is equipped with a high-speed Wi-fi internet network.

Pets are not permitted at The Foreside Inn. However, service animals, as defined by the ADA, are welcome.

Unfortunately, we do not offer laundry services on the hotel premises. However, there is a laundromat located right down the road from the hotel. It is called the Kittery Maytag Launderette, and it is located at 55 Government Street, Kittery, ME.

For guest safety and security, the common areas of the property (both interior and exterior) are covered by cameras that are remotely monitored. In addition, all doors in and out of the buildings on site require a pin to access. In case of emergency, always dial 9-1-1.

We have two fully accessible rooms. One room is a double queen room, and one room is a single queen room. These rooms provide wheelchair accessibility, roll-in showers, bathroom rails, and compliant clear space throughout the room.
